Looks like 1998 was the first year for the kickstand bushings
- The 1998 parts were still the same as previous model year:

50003-89A . PIN, CLEVIS
50005-85A . SPRING, JIFFY STAND
50006-89 . . JIFFY STAND

but the bushings were added:
53158-98 . . BUSHING (2ea)

so we might surmise that the kickstand mounting
at the frame was enlarged on that model year to
accomodate the bushings.
