Replacement Sportster Alternator Kits

Cycle Electric Inc alternator kits combine our state of the art stator with our legendary bullet proof rectifying regulator and a stock Harley rotor.
They deliver better low speed output and a smoother charge to the battery for crisper starting and longer battery life.
They have a full two year guarantee and are 100% American made.
The single phase kits come with the stator, rotor and regulator.
The stators listed will fit with your OEM rotor.
However, if upgrading to three phase, you'll need the new rotor also as the stator is wider.
The hex bolts on the inside of the rotor will shred the stator windings.
If in doubt, call Cycle Electric at 937-884-7300 and they'll be glad to help you get what you need.
Stators are listed as supplied on stock models.
Sportster models only fit Sportster. Twin cam models only fit twin cams.
Most other stators will interchange if proper rotor shimming can be achieved.
Stators:
- Insulation able to withstand temperatures of 600° F to eliminate stator burn out.
- Better low speed output to reduce battery discharge at an idle.
- Lower operating temperature for longer service life.
- Improved plugs that will not swell or separate

Note: When replacing a stator, compare the plug type to see which system is currently being used. If in doubt replace the complete system as a set.
Twin Cam models use the same plug on more than one system so comparing plugs won’t work.
Single Phase Kits
CE-19S, CE-20S, CE-21S, CE-23S and CE-24S
- The CE-19S is for late 1984 to 1990 Evo four speed sportsters. The rotor in this kit comes complete with built in clutch hub and bearing.
- The CE-20S fits 1992-1993 five speed sportsters.
It can be used on 1991 models.
But the plug on the end of the DC wire will need to be changed to a ring terminal to connect directly to the circuit breaker.

The rotor has a 36 tooth sprocket. - The CE-21S fits all 1994-2003 Sportsters. The rotor has a 36 tooth sprocket.
- The CE-23S fits 2007-2008 883 Sportsters the rotor has a 34 tooth sprocket.
- The CE#-24S fits 2007-2008 XL1200 Sportsters the rotor has a 38 tooth sprocket.
Three Phase Upgrade Kits
CE-69S and CE-69S-04 60 Series Three Phase Charging Systems
- The CE-69S will fit 1991-2003 Sportster. Use to upgrade to three phase 38 amp.
- The CE-69S-04 will fit 2004-2009 1200 Sportster. Use to upgrade to three phase 38 amp.
