• The washer that separates the feed from the scavenge gerotors can freely rotate and wear against the inside bore of the pump. Here is the groove from ~7k miles of use:

• Here is my original 2005 XB pump closest to the camera showing one of the two keys that prevent its separating washer from rotating. The 2007 pump is sitting behind it. The OD of the scavenge gerotor is smaller than the feed on the 2005 pump. The OD is the same on the feed and scavenge gerotors on the 2007 pump.

• Here are the two pumps, 2007 on left and 2005 on right with their respective separating plates. You can see the keyways in the 2005 pump plate.
