This frame (part# 47265-80) is OEM for 1980-1981 Sportster 1000cc engines.

The oil filter was relocated on 1980-up models and they were fitted with an external oil filter (no longer in the oil tank).
The filter mount on 80-81 models is located on a frame bracket between the engine and the oil tank.
It's under the seat in a awkward place to work with. ¹⁰⁾ Oil filter mounting threads are M16 x 1.5mm. ¹¹⁾
