Filter adapter (33115-79):
The oil filter adapter threads are the same size from L84-90.
Both ends have the same I.D. with a single hole drilled straight through.
The check valve in 85 and prior models is in the oil pump.
Therefore, the filter adapter is not set up for the check valve.

This billet oil filter mounting bracket (751510) fits any generator engine with 5/16“ generator mounting holes and replaces the OEM 1986-1990 Sportster filter pad. ⁷⁾
The oil filter bracket seals off the cam chest and provides a convenient place for a spin-on oil filter.
The bracket is machined for easy routing of an oil cooler in all applications and accepts the stock oil pressure sending switch.
It does not have an oil pressure regulator built into it like the OEM filter pad does. ⁸⁾
